It is around the same passion, the sail, as a team naval engineers and architects joined industrialists to create KARVER.

A new superstructure characterized by the evolution of performances, output, effectiveness, reduction, ergonomics. Initially adopted by 60 open feet, these concepts were declined so that the yachtmen profit from this projection. The best weight ratio/resistance and a great reliability.

PULLEY

Simple and effective, the K-Block* pulley has the advantage of the free choice suitable for fixing by transfilage. It associates a simple design an unequalled lightness. Gone up on balls or rollers in Peek, they guarantee a low rolling friction.

Single advantages of the pulleys K-Block :
- Safety : in the event of rupture of the réa, the circulating rope is captive transfilage. Although the pulley does not ensure any more circulation of the rope, the connection rope-point of fixing of the pulley remains.
- Profit of weight : these pulleys with their hang textile ensure a profit of weight going up to 50% compared to the traditional pulleys.
- Facility of fixings : the connection by transfilage which passes by the center of the pulley allows many possibilities of fixings (ringot, leg of goose…) or immobilization to limit its clearance for example.
- Silence on board : contrary to metal fixings, the flexibility of the connection pulley-transfilage deadens the shocks violent one and eliminates the noises from "ferraille" when the pulley is not under load.

EMMAGASINOR

The emmagasinor (code 0) is the ideal system to put at station quickly and in full safety already rolled up veils.
KARVER optimized this concept considerably and proposes a range supplements manufactured in series.

Advantages :
- Installation of the rope of operation without dismounting the casing.
- Very low height of the mechanism allowing to increase guindant it of the veil.

Roller or emmagasinor ?
With the difference of the roller which is a fixed system allowing the reduction of aerofoil around a rigid tube, the emmagasinor is a light and releasable system allowing the storage and the lowering of the veil which is on one guindant flexible.

HOOK

The mechanism of the hook makes it possible to lock the swivel directly on the mast, the hook functions in an automatic way, it locking/unlocking is done while acting on the tension of rope which hoists the emmagasinor and the sail. The étarquage of guindant is done then by bottom, a hoist 2 or 3 bits is fixed under the turret of the emmagasinor.

- Removal of the structural rope (cumulated load of the tension of guindant and the efforts of the veil)
- Removal of the pulley of reeving
- Reduction in compression in the mast
- Profit of the weight of the rope
- Stiffer "Guindant"
